PHP Design Patterns is a german book by Stephan Schmidt, I don't know if there are any translations yet.
If you're interested in design patterns in general, take a look at "Head First Design Patterns". Its examples are in Java, but the explanations are what's most important - and that's what the Head First series does exceptionally well.
